It all started when…
I took my first photography class on a whim as a college freshman. Developing images in the darkroom felt like absolute magic. By the end of the semester I decided to change my major, switched schools and moved halfway across the country to San Francisco. I’ve been doing photography in one way or another ever since and have had the joy of photographing weddings for over 10 years and food/beverage for more than 4.
My Shooting Style is: Laid back and authentic. I respect the uniqueness of each session by capturing the real moments as they happen. I love utilizing creative light for a little drama and to keep things interesting. I’m often found hiding behind a tree, flowers or someone’s shoulder to find a unique perspective. I am here for all the color but also appreciate simplicity. I love to have fun with whomever or whatever I’m photographing.
Likes: Palm trees and palm-like plants, sweatshirt weather, dogs, the smell of tomato plants, cooking, humor and music from the late 90’s/early 2000’s.
Dislikes: Things with 6 legs or more, bullies, cats (sorry for any controversy), baking (so much measuring!) and wearing high heels.
In my free time: I love being outside, watching documentaries, cross stitching and hanging on our front porch with a glass of wine.
